I thank everyone that has taken the time to take the elementary and high school surveys to help us refine our district learning plans.  We will continue the distance learning through the end of the school year.  We are working on determining what the end date for collecting work will be as we do need to leave a little additional time to collect all of our books, electronic devices, and materials that students have.  Definitive dates will be coming soon.

Graduation will be held on Sunday, May 31st at 3:00 in the Falls High School student parking lot.  We will be doing a “drive in theatre” type graduation.  Each family will have an assigned parking spot for one vehicle.  Family will not be allowed out of the vehicle, the ceremony will be observed from inside the vehicle and we encourage immediate family only.  Graduates will have caps, gowns, masks, and gloves and have a chair sitting outside of their vehicle to sit on for the ceremony.  The ceremony will be similar to normal with student speakers, staff speech, presentation of honor pins, and presentation of diplomas.  The parking lot will allow for safe social distancing for students and we will provide each student with masks and gloves for personal protection.  The plan includes having the radio station live broadcast the event so that everyone in their vehicle can hear the ceremony.  We will also have a live Facebook feed of the event and are working to see if we can get live coverage on the local cable channel.  Complete details are being worked out and more information will be coming as details are finalized.

I personally thank families for the hard work you are doing of keeping your child on task and up to date with their school work.  Please reach out to us if you are enduring struggles.  Teachers and staff are here to help.  Teachers can be contacted via phone, email, or other sites that they are using.  If you are having any difficulty getting in touch with staff, call the school offices and we will help facilitate.
