West
End Elementary School is located in the west
wing of Falls High School with students in grades
1-2. In addition, we house the District's preschool
programs for both regular and special education.
School hours are from 8:30-3:15.
West End Elementary
employs specialists in the areas of music, library,
and physical education, and provides services
in Special Education, Title I, Indian Education,
and Social Skills. All classrooms have computers,
on which students can develop both computer
and academic skills. Our computer lab is used
to deliver Fast ForWord language program to
all students. To challenge our better readers,
Junior Great Books and Accelerated Reading have
been implemented.
You are encouraged to
become a part of our Parent Involvement Committee
which meets the third Thursday of each month
at 3:30 in the school library, and to volunteer
your time here at West End Elementary. Even
if you are not a "parent," we love
having volunteers of all kinds, so please sign
up in the office in the fall. There are many
students and activities which can benefit from
your gift of time.
West End Elementary
provides a family atmosphere in which your child
can grow and develop to his/her highest potential
socially and academically. We look forward to
working with you and your child during the school
year and encourage you to visit your child's
teacher and classroom. Please call us at
283-2571 x158 if you have any questions
or concerns.
