Philosophy
The members of the Parent
Involvement Committee (PIC) believe that not only is the
involvement of parents in the education of their children
desirable, but it is essential to the success of
the entire educational process. Parent involvement is
something to be encouraged, promoted and welcomed.
Goals
TO encourage parents and students
to attend parent-teacher conferences.
TO encourage increased attendance
at School Open House activities.
TO encourage more effective and
positive communication between school and home.
TO promote increased parent
involvement in all I.S.D. 361 activities.
TO contribute educational
resources to I.S.D. 361.
TO provide a safe and comfortable
learning environment for students, parents and teachers.
